Jock, Western Lowland Gorilla

"OK, ladies, line up. I've only got a few minutes before the food arrives. Get your shots in now, the Sun is shining and this is my good side".

Jock is the dominant male, the silverback, of the Western Lowland Gorilla family at Bristol Zoo. At thirty two stone he knows he's in charge. As he takes his customary seat ready for a delightful vegetarian lunch he's also fully aware of the cameras, and deliberately poses for his fans.

A small but highly enjoyable blipmeet today, as I met up with fitzbilly and his wife Lynne. We took in the sights on what turned out to be a very nice and sunny day.
