Emsworthy Sunflare

We've been feeling a bit lethargic lately, so this morning after our usual leisurely breakfast, we drove up to the moor and yomped (in a leisurely manner) up to Emsworthy Rocks. Lady Marian hasn't been there before so it was great that the weather was marvellous and it was lovely and warm too. We soon regretted our jackets and tied them round our waists.

Marian spotted a little nook behind the main rock to get the sun blazing through the tree. You might notice a bit of artefact in the image. I decided not to remove it.

I've included an extra of the pair of us in front of my favourite tree.

PS I forgot to say that we were treated to great views of a Peregrine falcon as we walked back.
