What a lovely place I seem to have chosen for this long weekend with my sister and two brothers, a converted chapel in Dinorwig. It's very near to our parents' holiday cottage, where we spent all our school holidays for quite a number of years.

Not a good journey for any of us today, but we managed to meet by the bus turning circle more or less on time, and then we did our old walk down the zig zags and up through the woods. While waiting for the others I actually saw Johnny Dawes walking down into the quarries!

The main is one of the lounge windows, through which we can see Crib Goch, the Llanberis path up Snowdon, Snowdon herself and the Dinorwig slate tips.  Fantastic!

The first extra is of Llyn Padarn through the oak trees, and the second is of our cottage, though ours no longer and altered somewhat over the years.
