flying in the rain

Along the railway track, the railway men replaced track. The drinkers drank wine and beer. By the river the fisher folk cast hooks. On the river the seagulls floated, flew and squawked. In the river the salmon swam.

My mother used to ask, "You're not made of sugar are you? You can surely stand a little rain?" In other words, "Go outside! Play in the rain!"
