Esperor Napoleon of the French

I visited the Art of Portraiture in the Louvre Collection exhibition at the Osaka City Museum of Fine Arts this afternoon. A marvelous collection of paintings, sculptures and other items mostly based around the theme portraying power and attaining immortality. At the entrance was a monitor where you could have your face blended with one of two male or female portraits from the exhibition. I chose to morph with Napoleon. He may make The Don look humble, but he did say, "In politics, stupidity is not a handicap," so he wasn't without insight.

Typhoon Trami is currently wreaking havoc on Okinawa and it is still forecast to make a direct hit upon us. Can't deny I'm rather nervous; the last typhoon to strike us a few weeks ago, Jebi, was a pretty terrifying ordeal and Trami has equal strength with Jebi. Perhaps with my newly acquired imperial status I can drive it back from whence it came.
