The Still Point Of Destruction

A lovely day. Beautiful weather. A perfect ceremony at St. Michael's Cathedral. Back to school I prepared materials for Monday's lessons. Then we had the annual St. Michael's Day pot luck party; delicious food prepared by all the staff as usual.

After lunch the teachers put up display boards of children's writing while listening to the kind of music that teachers like to listen to when kids are not around, including, to my great delight, Nine Inch Nails. We finished the boards just in time to go home early - 15.30. I made the most of it and enjoyed a fifteen kilometers run listening to more NIN on my i-Pod.

Here is a very appropriate track from NIN in view of how pleasant today was as another powerful typhoon approaches.

"The best thing about life is knowing you put it together." (Trent Reznor)
