From Dereliction & Cellars To This

Today was day one of the Art Weekend held each year at the Haus Kladower Forum. Here you see the rear of the amazing building which has been restored from dereliction...The forum covers so many arts and crafts and the enthusiasm is terrific. I had to blip the fountain situated in the back garden  This  Venetian work dates back to to 1700's and was in a castle nearby .The castle has long since gone and  years later the fountain was found in pieces in the ground . It was then stored in the cellars of Rathaus Charlottenburg, Having been restored it's working perfectly . Photographs , paintings , sculptures the day  was altogether fascinating .
A superb time meeting so many people, tomorrow may just find  me there for day two..
