Annie and Chris

Nearly Ready

Today, despite still not feeling 100%, I (Chris) have spent most of the day preparing for the Club Triumph Round Britain Reliability Run which we will be participating in next weekend. Annie has been busy working on a presentation for work.

The Triumph event will take us from Knebworth in Hertfordshire on Friday evening to John O’Groats for breakfast on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday at Lands End before returning to Knebworth Sunday evening. It’s a 48 hour run of over 2000 miles, 140 Triumph cars are taking part. Our car, built in 1978 is one of the newer vehicles in the event but it’s a challenge for all, the event can be a real car breaker. If anyone fancies seeing the cars, we have a number of control stops on the route. Timings are targets of course, obviously there is no guarantee we will make it but watch the blips from Friday for progress reports:
