Geum....

.....bright orange with yellow stamens which capture the light and sits against lovely green foliage, it's called Coccineum koi

I've been gardening for most of today, it's been the battle of the weeds and there's still more to be done, all in good time. I've had a box of plants arrive from a nursery, quite exciting if you like gardening, this wee geum is one of the newbies.

Hubby and I are away tomorrow for a couple of nights, just far enough  away for some R&R, the sea will feature :)

I'll try to blip as I already have too many backblips to be done, still haven't put our North Island trip up and when I return I'll be gardening again.
