Flower Stall

Today it was still raining first thing, but the sun came out for a while when we were in Bishop's Stortford, now it is very windy and overcast this afternoon.

This flower stall is often quite busy, but today hardly anyone was buying flowers and the town did not appear to be very busy. The café we visit was full of people having their breakfast before going to a funeral and the rest of them were in the queue in front of me in Waitrose, which was as busy as I have seen it for a long while.

Maybe they know something I do not, bad weather, flooding, roads blocked by trees falling down in these high winds? Most had trolleys piled high with food; surely they were not stocking up for Christmas already.
