Spring rites

Stamens on a camellia I picked up on my walk yesterday. It is a species with the very tall erect stamens. I sprayed it with water and put it in the freezer over night. The extra shows the result but I preferred just the stamens as the ice melted.

Thankyou for the many stars, hearts and comments on the reef heron yesterday. After a hard day at the research my head is spinning so no more blip tonight. I always blame daylight saving for feeling tired in this week but it may just be old age.
