Lemon, statice, jug

A bit of a dull day today, though we did have some flashes of sun, but I'd already decided on a still life as I'm out tonight and need to gather my wits.  This also means hearts will have to be given out late, I'm afraid   :(

I wonder if we can persuade Nickimags888 to start up her still life challenge again for this (northern hemisphere) winter..  What fun that would be.
