Huts

We had a day in Southwold. A holiday in this part of Suffolk would not be the same without a day in Southwold - a rather genteel resort. The highlights included a walk along the beach with a close to shore sighting of a seal, morning coffee on the pier,  a little bit of shopping, and lunch in Adnam’s café. Along with hairdressers and chippies, beach hut owners come up with a wonderful range of corny or clever names for their premises, one of my favourite for the day being Jabba the Hutt.
We stopped off for an hour at a nature reserve on the way home and had some fine views of Marsh Harriers and a Kestrel (another!) which will find its way into extras
