Apples...again!

This time on the tree and joined by crabapples too. I think we’ll get about a dozen apples this year which is quite surprising for its first year. I ate yesterday’s model at lunchtime...very crunchy and not very sweet, thank goodness it was only a little one! The rest may get cooked this year.

The crabapple tree is heaving, last year we (that’s the royal we - hubby made the mess, I cleaned up!) made crabapple jelly but we’ve yet to get through it all so I think the birds may be lucky this year.

House to myself today so I was happy to put my domestic goddess hat on while no one was around to undo the progress I was making!!!
