#5Rights

An incredible day at the #5Rights Summit in digital rights - an event planned, organised, delivered and led by our amazing young volunteers for the Year of Young People 2018.

With guests from the jurisdictions of the British Irish Council; schools from across Scotland, partner organisations, the Minister for Digital Kate Forbes and the founder of #5Rights Baroness Beeban Kidron, it was a brilliant day.

Insightful and powerful conversations and ideas were shared. Best of all was hearing about the impact of the work being done by our young people here in Scotland, and that their voices and ideas are being carried all the way to Silicon Valley and the UN in Geneva.

So proud of them and the team who support them. A special day.
