The rightness of orange and red

My dear uncle I visited just weeks ago passed away overnight. That's 3 of that generation gone this year.

David is a wonderful uncle and I will miss him greatly. Both of our families grew up near to each other. There were lots of visits, sleep overs, and holidays with them.

He always had a twinkle in his eye and I bet he still has.

My bugs continue to percolate and I'm sad.

Today's gratitude: For being able to visit David recently and for this mix of red tulips and orange poppies.
