Portraits

One of my friends from Australia and her sister are touring Europe at the moment and arrived in Edinburgh yesterday. I travelled through to meet them for lunch and, afterwards, my friend, who had visited the National Gallery in the morning said she'd like to visit the Portrait Gallery in the afternoon.

So while her sister went off to visit the Royal Mile, having been at the Castle in the morning, we had a wee wander round the Scottish National Portrait Gallery, where this photo was taken.

Every chance we'll be doing the Kelpies and the Falkirk Wheel tomorrow.
