The Events Centre

Today is our son's birthday. First born of the children, a significant number of years ago. Joined a few years later by two younger sisters; little more than a year apart. I was told in my training that three is an intrinsically unstable number for relationships, and that the ever changing dyads is the cause of that. Son was happy to mostly leave them to be the usual dyad. One of the best things we did for him was to enrol him in Karate as a shy lad, as that helped him gain a quiet assurance that has remained with him. As Tsuken he mixes photography, with karate, coffee making, cooking and working with people in need. And as a family man he is a strong support to his children and wife. We are proud of him.

So to celebrate without him (he being in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney) J joined S and me in a a restaurant in the Wynyard Quarter. We arrived there just before the sun set, and I took my photo as the golden light hit the building.
