Windsurfing for beginners

We had a walk around Whitlingham Broad - 3.5km according to Map my Walk.  And I don't feel any the worse for the exercise, which has to be a good sign.

These very new windsurfers were struggling to control their boards, despite the almost total lack of wind on the Broad.

After that, we stopped for lunch and a poke around at The Green Grocers.  Lunch was lovely, especially as we were able to sit outside to enjoy it.  And there was a good selection of dried goods to be bought without packaging.  But I was disappointed to see that the majority of the large selection of teas (including the English Breakfast that W selected to accompany his lunch) were being sold as tea bags, rather than loose tea.  There was also a large selection of meats and other goods being sold in plastic wrapping.  And why does "plastic lite" have to be synonymous with "organic"?  Personally, I have no problem with the use of some fertilizers and insecticides if it helps to improve the yield, and is sensibly applied with care for the birds and bees.
