Emerging

It seems to be impossible to keep up these days so i’m having a go at following the Radio 4 iPM programme’s idea of putting my week in a few random sentences.... (my apologies for being such a bad blipper!)

At work this week my name was put in a hat along with others who had expressed an interest in an upcoming IAPT compliant course. It has felt like a bit of a ‘Sorting Hat’ moment ....https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=fA3dbvRCui0.... a world where guidelines generate a whole other world … we spin and we spin … and my name came out.

For the first time in twelve years the internal fridge light has come on. Is it a sign?
All that stuff in darkness being seen … quite revelatory. Definitely a sign.

Probably two of the most profound moments at work for a long time and a beautiful little pot rose (blip).
Reminded of Wordsworth’s lines,
‘Small service is true service while it lasts;
Of friends, however humble, scorn not one:
The daisy, by the shadow that it casts,
Protects the lingering dew-drop from the sun.’ (To a Child)

A conversation about Hieronymus Bosch and the self and landscape … Settlement…

By the end of this week I will probably have clocked up a 1,000 miles in the new car. Ugh.

When will I ever get any cleaning done?
