Oil and water

It's been an insidey-sorting-out-stuff-sort--of-day.  Made good progress with a room downstairs full of books that were just piled on top of each other in the available bookcase space.  Just need a new sofa in there, nice book reading light and to knock through another window so it's not so dark... (in my dreams).

Tried this experiment following a conversation with Steve at camera club on Monday.  Glass of oil and water with a drop of fairy liquid, placed on top of my iPhone showing a colourful screen.  Photo using a macro lens (hand held).  I can see it could do with refining but quite a pleasing  result for a 15 minute experiment.
