Closing Regatta Action Shot

The final sail of the year, and a good one - five of us,  squeezed aboard. I’m kidding of course, the boat is huge; no squeezing required. Though these guys had to be pressed - into their nautical headgear. Unfortunately as we  were very close to the wind at this point, there was a tiny inadvertant tack which did nothing for our finishing time (I’d already whined at the sailing secretary about my absurdly low handicap). Still, we did sneak into a top ten position (OK, out of 14..). And then back for a BBQ and wash-up and thanks to Cigs for a most welcome beer. 
So… sails off soon, mast down, lift-out and then I can have fun rubbing down. Can’t wait.
