“You can do it, it’s only mental”

The most beautiful day and it’s already October 7th. We have had heatwaves at the beginning of October, but this is not a heatwave, just a pleasant sunny day. And aside from the marathon crowds, everyone’s out on the beachfront.

We’ve just walked along the promenade and are now having a drink on the terrace at Vesuvio. Mr BB is restless and is walking up and down while I complete this.

The supporters were out with words of encouragement. My favourite was “You can do it, it’s only mental”

The sugar plum fairy in this blip is my choice from the loads of shots I took on the way. Not sure if he was in the half or full marathon. But everyone running is to be commended, even the stragglers.
