A walk in Bagger Wood

I found fungi this afternoon, my first walk this autumn where it seemed to be present.  Maybe we’ve had enough rain recently to stimulate the fruiting bodies.  I’m not sure what the two on the outside edges are but I’ve seen them before and will have to look them up.  The middle red one is Fly Agaric.  There was one patch of these fungi near the bridge with very large caps which were rather chewed around the edges.  Mainly they were the small yellow ones (right) which were prolific in a number of places.

I’d been out to deliver a card for Brian who is hospital again and a bottle of wine for his daughter.  I thought she might have more need than him,
