Seasonal sheep - MM246

It's no good, I absolutely love sheep.  So sweet and a bit gormless, (though with the intelligence to know we have designs on them that might not be altogether happy).

So why is this one seasonal for MonoMonday?  Well apart from the fact she and her flock are pretty pregnant - right time of year for that - look at the burrs in her coat.  A lot of burdock grows in the Itchen Valley, which is where the burrs come from.  At this time of year all hairy farm animals you see tend to have them.  The sheep have them, the horses at Shawford have them and one of the Exmoor ponies on Morn Hill had so many primping up her mane last year it had to be shaved off!
