Heading home to a hole in a tree!

Rainbow lorikeet heading back to its nest in a tree by the river. They have specialized brush-tipped tongues for feeding on nectar of various blossoms and soft fruits, preferably berries.

Extra is a darter or snake bird drying its wings.  It's a large, slim water bird with a long snake-like neck, sharp pointed bill, and long, rounded tail. Male birds are dark brownish black so I think this is a male.
