The weather forecasts were wrong. Yesterday's plan A was postponed again and a short walk from Elterwater took it's place. 

On a good day you get excellent views of the Langdale Pikes from up here. Today visibility was much reduced.

I took a number of similar snaps as we passed the quarry buildings and my only reason for choosing this one is that it shows the rain hitting the puddles.
