Nature Diary... Cheerfulness in the Garden

With lower temperatures today, and grey skies replacing yesterday's blue, it was delightful to stroll round the garden and to see little bursts of colour as the icy rain fell softly and quietly, reminding us it's now mid October and summer really has started to slip away. Nice while it lasted though... very nice... and very hot!... Maybe next year...
