Garden Art

We've had a busy day somewhat like herding cats. Organizing 14 people of varying ages and interests takes a good deal of discussion and cooperation, which we managed by deciding to divide and conquer.

The men went beer tasting while the women showered and the kids played. Then the women went shopping while one contingent of men took the dogs and tackled the complicated home stereo system at our house and another contingent went to the park.

We ran out of time before wine tasting could happen. Now the discussion over what we should do for dinner is raging (if discussions can be said to rage in a desultory fashion). I have wandered out into the garden and taken a picture of a totem pole decorated by Peter and his 6th grade class.
