A shower of poppies

Every year the town has "Oswestry Makes" when organisations and individuals make items to decorate public places.  This  year the theme is World War 1 and there are poppies everywhere. This display is at Oswestry Museum and they look beautiful as well as reminding us of the loss of life in the war.

The drum, uniform and brass instruments are old ones from  Porth-Y-Waen band.

It's been wet and windy as Storm Callum whizzes around so it's been  indoor activities after returning home from town.
