A kingfisher!

It has rained all day so we put on our waterproofs and went to RSPB Rye Meads. We walked around the trail and had our sandwiches in a hide.

As we watched a kingfisher flew to a stick and sat there for a while before diving in the water, emerging with a fish and flying away with it. A wonderful thing to witness!
