Beacon race

is advertised as 'This is not a fun run', but if you take it steadily and walk up the steep bits, then it is fun. Unseasonally warm, and gusting a good Force 8 at the top -  a seven mile event with 500m overall climb. Beautifully organised and marshalled by Worcester Athletic Club.
