Eden

A forecast of rain and so Andrew and Katie planned a visit to the Eden Project and I decided to join them as I have never been.
We arrived just after 10 to find things pleasantly quiet and headed for the Rainforest Biome. We wandered along the jungle paths and saw the many fascinating trees and plants that have been discovered to have special properties and also how precious the web of life is there. Delightful forest orchids too, see extra for ‘Cockleshell Orchid.
We climbed to the rooftop for an amazing view of the canopy.
On to the Mediterranean Biome for more great habitats. See extra.
We left feeling that the exhibition has a true care for the environment and strives to educate rather than simply make money.
We could happily have spent another day there to take it all in. Really well worth visiting.
