Chinese Dogwood Fruit

Only halfway to the mailbox at Ann's was a Chinese Dogwood just  chock full of fruit in seasonal colors. Since I had never heard that they were harmful, I  picked one (much to Ann's horror) and ate some liking the sweet taste. When I Googled it afterwards, I found some jam recipes, but then with enough sugar and pectin you can make jam out of anything.
