Still some green

Storm Callum hit the Lakes today - and it was "pretty wet and windy" However, the day started with only light rain, so we headed over to Ullswater where the trees would give us shelter, and spent a very enjoyable couple of hours shooting some lovely autumn colours - and close ups of the forest floor (extra). This 5-shot PV of a tree was appreciated by the group - as almost looking like a ballerina. (Green tutu?) 

It also shows that although we already have good autumn colours, there is plenty of time for the rest of the trees to change, so autumn in the Lakes will be well spread out - probaly well into November!
