The Last Day of Summer

We had a few things left to do at the summer house before winter, and since it was beautiful and sunny, we decided that today was the day to go there. Yay!

We had picnic on the veranda when we arrived, a cheese sandwich. It’s one of my favourite spots. Then mum picked two big bags of apples, mainly a variety called Åkerö, for us to eat and use is apple cakes during the coming months. There was NO mowing, for which we were both grateful. Instead, we played with my agility tunnel, enjoyed the sunshine and then we went walkies up to the paddling spot. No berries left, but still good. Our kind neighbour helped mum with the mousetraps, and after that I wasn’t allowed inside.

A lovely autumn outing that felt almost like summer. Thank you for this season, summer house! We’ll be back next spring.
