The Oak Meadows

One of the great things about autumn is that we are now free to walk anywhere in the oak meadows without running the risk of a giant cow, or worse, bull standing in the middle of the path, blocking our way to freedom. We’re making the most of it. There are plenty of rocks to jump in the oak meadows. Mum says some of them are remnants of Iron Age settlements.

We had tapas for dinner. Mum buys a ready-made selection, and I get small pieces of ham and cheese. Brilliant!
