Centipede

It’s the last full day of our French vacance and the weather continues to challenge us. But hey, we can do challenge, and we set out on a jolly nice walk into the hills above Beaufort. On the way, heads down in the developing gales, we noticed this fellow. In other words we barely avoided stepping on him!

It’s been great fun down here, but to tomorrow afternoon we fly home - for a couple of days, anyway. We’ve been here enough times now that the variable weather doesn’t worry us, and we have wandered these hills and vineyards in forty degree sunshine and five degree horizontal rain... ok, perhaps I prefer the sunshine.

I think I have over a thousand photos to go through when I get the chance, which won’t be immediately we get home, and since most often are bracketed shots for HDR it will probably resolve to about twenty keepers! Oh, imagine the days of celluloid film... and paying for the developing and printing...!

And yes, for those who check, it does only have forty legs...
