Our Turn

After several days of rain and grey skies, it was our turn for some lovely autumn sunshine today.  This is the usual view from the decking, but notice how the trees are changing to their beautiful golden shades.

TJ was busy doing bits in the garden, while I started to pick up some of the windfalls that had been taken down by the recent gales (see Extra).  I thought this one was cookers, but they are delicious eating apples!  The spare ones will be going to Cairn o'Mohr winery to help make their apple juice or cider.
