Surf’s still up, though not pounding the beach with quite the intensity of yesterday. Here are both Santa Cruz lighthouses - the Walton lighthouse, dedicated 2002, close up, and the Abbot lighthouse, completed 1967, silhouetted in the distance.
These clear evenings always bring some interesting action seen like cardboard cutouts against the light. If you look closely, you can see a figure in the shelter of the lighthouse, taking a picture of the person sitting at the end of the breakwater getting showered.
The extra - I couldn’t resist this trio, 2 people with cellphones in hand, the dog leading them as they dash to catch the last glimpse of the sun.
