History lesson!

Another gorgeous day! Can't believe our luck! I should've been playing badminton this afternoon, but I've jiggered my neck, so thought it wise to give badminton a miss.

Instead I headed out for a walk/blip-hunt and bumped into my neighbour Nancy outside. She decided to join me for the walk, which meant I didn't take the usual time to look for a blip - too busy nattering! - so this is the result.

The plaque stands at the start of the walk along the river and tells a little bit about the history of Balfron and its most famous son, the architect Alexander 'Greek' Thomson. I hope the writing is clear enough to be read.
