Post Wedding Weekend

This is not a high quality shot, but I'm going with it anyway, since it marks an occasion for me.  It's the end of my daughter's wedding weekend. We stayed last night in Hoboken, NJ at a hotel on the Hudson River.  This was taken at dawn this morning, before we went over to her apartment to pick up her dog Leo.  Leo is spending the week with us as Rachel and her new husband head off for a few days in Bermuda.

The wedding was lovely, the weather cooperated, and there were no issues of any significance.  Phew!  I placed a couple of photos in extras, taken with someone's iPhone during the ceremony.  My son officiated, which was a highlight for me.  It's nice to see them connecting on an adult level.  I'm really looking forward to seeing what the professional photographer comes up with.

I feel like I've been on another planet for the last few days.  If the rain ends in the morning it will feel good to get back out in the garden with my camera.
