St Ninians Auld Kirk yerd 1938-2018

Today we marked the 80 years since my parents were married and 40 years since my dad died. A perfect autumn sunny day and the old bell marked midday as we tended the stone on the Adams/Gemmell lair. The yard is sadly in poor repair but seen at its best today. Memories many here abouts, not least as their relationship began in the ‘new’ Kirk ha’ next door, in 1928 and I played in the hall 45 years later. And as to the Jacobites and Covenanters, that’s another story.
