grabbing glimpses of sun

today the weather changed and we had rain this morning but it brightened this afternoon. A good excuse for a quieter day and rest my aching back.
A nice brunch art Chester's and evening meal in Stoves. The kids go home tomorrow and are replaced by my cousin. Dan and Lotty have been good company, they have achieved all of the walk challenges they had set for themselves and even more importantly all of the eateries they wanted to enjoy.
The blip is looking down Langdale valley to the Pikes, and I liked the extra as the cloud gave way to glimpse of sun at about 12.30. The last extra is of the Trevor Woodburn bridge over the R Rothay, the bridge is a work of iron art.
