Race to the Top

This tower is on a handkerchief sized plot by the Rochdale Canal.

Everyone will have an opinion about it. In my view this is its best side. I am not convinced by the others, far too fussy for my taste, although I will reserve judgement until it is completed.

There are taller towers under construction, and more coming. All part of densifying the City and making the most of the existing land resource within the urban area. That needs to go hand in hand with a greening of the City too. As this shot perhaps demonstrates.
