The Thanksgiving Table

Being expats, Thanksgiving is a bit alien to us, but we do try to get into the spirit of things.

This year we had people travelling to eat dinner with us, assuming of course, that kids coming home from college count!

We were thankful that we didn't have to watch football, eat sweet potatoes with marshmallows or start Christmas shopping at 11pm.

We opened a bottle of Chianti. We set a nice table, with a turkey decoration, turkey shaped butter and turkey napkins.

Then we sat down and ate roast duck!!!!!
