The King's Knot, Stirling

Today has been beautifully sunny, so after doing some business in Stirling I wandered up to the castle esplanande and the old town cemetery for some blips. The views from up there were lovely. This is looking down onto the King's Knot.

I've added a few extras from up there plus one of a new 'minty'-coloured shop on the way up the hill.

HOT OFF THE PRESS! The exciting news from P that I had to keep to myself was officially released today. More here. 'My' P is Pat Campbell, not Paddy Higson! I've been house-sitting for her for more than ten years and because her job involves being away from home for months at a time, she's always said she couldn't do it without me, so I'm feeling just a wee bit proud too. ;-)
