My lawn

We had a great evening at Ronnie Scott's yesterday and by the standards of what I used to do 35-40 years ago it wasn't a late night. But it was a late night compared to what we are used to now, so we both felt tired today. To be fair, it wasn't just being late to bed, my phone told me that my step count for the day was well over five times what it would normally be so there was a fair bit of exercise involved and let's face it; we had a drink or two. Which is a long-winded way of saying I haven't been out to take any pictures today.

So here we have one of the bare patches left on my lawn after the summer drought. The violas seem to be better than the grass at filling in the gaps.
