Angel Cake

Very angelic.... But such a weird texture! I remember this from my childhood, growing up in Newton Mearns not far from the 'Caterpillar' factory. Sadly the scots hated us in 1965 which meant that most of my friends were American.... which was not too bad - at least I was introduced to Angel Food Cake and peanut butter and jello sandwiches! And, thank goodness, I now have a lot of Scottish friends!
