The Thames in flood

I visited Mum again today and went to Newbridge, just to the north of our village, and despite its name, the oldest bridging point on the Thames. It is flanked by two pubs, the Rose Revived and the Maybush. The stonework has a lovely patina. The fields all around were flooded after the recent and continuing rain.
